Hi All,

Just painted a part of one model and got some thinned paint left. When cleaning brushes and spray gun I used a bit of clean white spirit which, after use, dropped it into the thinned paint jar. How long would I be able to keep this mix?

I saw that this could be used for some washing that I intend to do...just don't know when.

Thanks!

Good question. I am new to airbrushing and was wondering what to do with the left over paint?

To be honest, I learned after my first few air brushing sessions to mix as little as possible. It was a waste to have left over thinned paint. I threw it away. Once I did leave it over night with a sealed lid on top. The next day it was all congealed. I want to keep my airbrush as clean as possible, so I use a fresh mix every time. If you run out during a spray job, doesnt take long to mix some more.

Being tight I think I'd be tempted to keep it for weathering, I do use thinned enamel quite often for that

I agree, I wouldn't put it through the airbrush though
