What is the latest news/rumours re Humbrol?

I went to Hobbycraft this morning to get some paints, nearer to me than a proper model shop, and found their stock of Humbrol paints was running dry ( No pun intended!!!!). No more comung in.

They don't stock Revell paints at present, but said they were waiting to see if Revell took over Humbrol.

Well the Hobbycraft that is near me is not getting rid of the humbrol paints.

Ken,the situation is very grim with remaining Humbrol tinlet supplies drying up,the same this area with empty dusty racks.

There is not going to be any immediate solution to the paint problem,as Heller are still refusing to release or give details of vital assetts ie tooling connected with the Airfix situation.

Revell's takeover is pure speculation,a more likely contender could be Hornby,once again this revolves around the attractiveness of what is left and available from the fallen company and what the company is worth on the open market.
