Hi all just thought I`d share some really good news with you all, one of my sons Andrew and his girlfriend Hannah are expecting their first child together, at this moment in time I`m over the moon and the happiest man alive, I`m so proud of them both.

Although this is not my first time at being a granddad, it feels like it, that`s 2 beautiful grand children already here and one on the way, can life get any better!

Ah so zee more diggee deep into zee pockets.

Nice stuff I have four grandsons and they are great fun.

Had a party just after Christmas as my youngest and 4th of the tribe had got engaged. 14 of the family there and I looked around and thought they would not be there but for Pauline and I. Family's are the spice and foundation of life. Hard at times but worth all the effort 100% many times over.

Most likely I will die, childless.

That's ok though, with what I've lived through and after all I have had denied to me, or simply taken away, I would not be able to give them much of a life. I would rather not. One big problem is my "in-laws" that fought and survived WW2. They think because they suffered, nobody else is allowed to enjoy life. They're actually quite miserable people for it. I wish they would realise it's better to honor their lives and live to the fullest, because otherwise, they insult everyone else who did not make it. But what do I know, I haven't lived through a war. Well, if the Russian situation in the Ukraine deteriorates any further, they may get their wishes....

It's hard sometimes, I'll admit it. But I am pretty tough, I've survived this far.

My life philosophy is "whatever will be, will be." If it wasn't supposed to unfold like that, then it wouldn't have. Simple.
