discussion i need help on how to paint tire markings....

I bought a tamiya porsche and i would like to paint the letters on the side of the tires yellow but i dont have a clue how to can someone guide me in the right direction??

Hi

If the lettering is recessed you can use a cocktail stick with a small amount of paint on it to fill in the lettering.

If the lettering is of the solid type then you could try a bit of dry brushing over the lettering.

I would suggest doing either with the tyre on the wheel, as if not then putting tyre on after could wreck your efforts

Also try this when you're done put a coat of klear on after as this will protect your work and give that "showroom" wheel finish
