IBG Models are a Polish Manufacturer - they have a healthy range of 1/72, 1/35, 1/32 & 1/700 modern tooled models.
HMS Middleton was one of may Hunt II Escort destroyers IBG model several ships of this class, inclding those manned by Polish crew in WWII. Variations are covered by addition of separate small sprues. Waterline only models.

Quite a sturdy box - obviously a standard size = 'cos there isn't much in there!

PE & decal sheet ( seems to cover all models )

The fold up 20mm Oerlikon look a bit iffy to me ( Item 3 )
Instructions in halftone on glossy paper 3 double sides of A4 folded.

I'm not a fan of this type of instruction, I'd rather have line drawings, if they were in colour it would work, but the print quality isn't good enough to see things clearly! One colour option only, 1943, although with a bit of research, I imagine others could be found.

One nasty problem - the positioning of the ingates on the 4" gun barrels, they will need careful removal & clean up

The sprues are clean & crisp, with no flash - the ingates are large, but on a 1/700 model, they're always going to look big in relation.
The PE looks pretty comprehensive - although a bit optimistic on some of the tinier parts! Main problem will be handling the tiny parts - optivisor recommended.
Available from most suppliers - around £11-15 ( +p&p ). I wouldn't recommend these for beginners..................

Hi Dave
That looks nice. A good start to 1/700 ships maybe as it's not expensive. Cleaning up the 4" guns would test your patience. As you say the PE sheet looks good. Railings make all the difference to a ship model.

Jim,
the main stumbling block is the size - its only 120mm long x 14mm beam - you'll need steady hands for those railings!

Despite the faults mentioned still looks a nice model as regards to moulding techniques these Eastern European companies are fast gaining with the Chinese. Thanks for taking your time to show this. Dave
