Folks,

I'm working on a car at present (will start a build thread shortly) that the shell needs to be black inside and the outside gloss yellow,

Correct plan to mask it completely off & do interior first then reverse for yellow?

Just concerned about bleeding

Dave

Yes Dave. I always prime inside and out. Rub down, mask off and paint the inside then rub down mask off and paint the outside. That way you remove any bleeding from the outside before colour coating. Just as an aside I would use a white primer under yellow to really make the colour pop!

before you spray the yellow seal against the masking tape with some kind of varnish, i use old type Kleer/Future, that will stop anything going under the tape
