I am now thoroughly confused about Jonnie Johnsons mounts. Any body else have this problem! And why so few photos of them! I am building the ICM kit as one or the other. Just another thought. If you want to throw a spit together, get the tamiya, make a spit, Airfix, but to build one get the ICM! No location pins!

Hi rover, are you asking for information about Johnson's Spitfire in particular or the ICM kit? Hi Joe, Just getting confused over some of the markings for JE-J, width of stripes, Maple leaf, squared or round J's. I have found quotes for 18" stripes and another for 16" stripes on 392. I have put 16's on my rendition and have not got as far as the codes etc yet. These must be the least documented aircraft of the RAF. It will be my interpretation in the end. Thanks for the interest, Joe. I will hopefully put a pic of it in the gallery when its completed, when the missus allows me in the workshop/garage again! She reckons that I am drinking the IPA. She must think its International Pale Ale! Must get some photos of the others in my display done too.
