hi there guys

having looked on this forum and not seeming to be able to find the answer i thought id post the question, as we all no johnsons klear is brilliant, but can it be used to stick stuff down i.e cockpit canopys as glue tends to mist, ive heard of this being done but just wondered if anyone has done this with any success

I've never done it myself but I do know that Johnsons can be used to stick canopies to fuselages.

It is basically only a clear acrylic coating and for something as light and delicate as a canopy it should be fine.
 
It does work great BUT don't push it-its not cement and a rather weak acrylic that's floor polish designed to be removed and applied every now and then. I've just put in an order for a product called Gator grip glue and its supposed to be great. I have used watch makers cement with good results but requires rubbing alcohol to be removed-not good when using acrylics! Take care, Jeff
