Just a quick question to anyone out there that knows there stuff regarding Luftwaffe aircraft (Steve!?!). I am getting ready to put my Ju88 together now and it won't take long once I start. so painting won't be far behind either.

The Peilgerät receiving aerial on the top of the fuse for a Ju88 has a clear cover (on the kit at least). in reality was this painted over or was it left so that the aerial inside was visible?
