discussion Just starting out and looking at airbrushes

Hi I'm just starting out or well starting out doing things properly, used to do it as a child but I'm looking into airbrushes and really want to see if I can get on with them.


I have seen some on eBay selling at quite a low price around 22.00 pounds I think they are called voilamart dual action gravity fed and also includes and small compressor, just wanted to know if that would be sufficient for starting out or whether I should spend more money on one

Hi Mike, I would have a word with John who owned this forum and The Scale Model Shop, see the banner link at the top of the page. Airbrushing is something that most people start off with cheap and soon progress to more expensive. You don't have to spend a fortune to get a decent starter set but going too cheap can sometimes be false economy.
