Iv heard that Dragon make the best armour kits but im so used to tamiya now im a bit aprihensive about getting a kit from a different manufacturer.

any sugestions?

who make the best/most detailed plastic kit military planes. are tamiya still good in these areas?

thanks,

Richard

*** Well Richard, all I can say to this is recently I built the Taniya 1=48th scale Gloster Meteor kit,it is the only model that I have never had to resort to using any filler whatsoever,it went together like a glove, when it comes to moulding precision Tamiya are a force to reckon with,I would not hesitate to buy another kit from this company.

Any more experiences out there ?

i would say dragon and tamiya are equal, the only difference being most of the later dragon armour kits include PE, resin and white metal parts which can proove hard for a learner.

Basically if you want a slightly harder challenge with your kits go for dragon, the end results are better and the mouldings are equally good. For no hassle, nice fitting kits choose tamiya.
