Beautiful model KenP. I`m sure we all would like some info on real ship. Was she a Royal Yacht? What period. Next pics..on the water ?

Komet was the German governors yacht for German New Guinea and was built in 1911.

She was armed and carried a crew of 160 . She was taken as a war prize by Australia and served as a patrol boat. Later she became a pilot boat and was finally broken up in 1955

Hi! Ken. I'm about to build the Deans Model "Komet" your comments about the poor quality of plans etc are very disturbing."What did you have to do to produce the fine model you have just built?".You help would be much appreciated.I live in Perth Western Australia.

Sorry for the delay in replying. Missed seeing yor post !!

Can't really help you as I've fitted neither to my KOMet. Decided to just keep it simple !!!
