discussion Land Warfare Hall Duxford IWM

Spent the day at Duxford yesterday with SWAMBO and the kids, the first time I have had chance to look around the Land Warfare hall properly as there were not many vistors there. I was amazed at the vehicles they have there and recommend a visit to the place only to look at the tanks they have. A nice Panzer MkIII in grey, a Stug III, a Hertzer, T-34 Su-85, Churchill, Sherman, Valentine and the list goes on, not to mention the postwar stuff. Will sling some photogarphs on here as soon as I get them off the flashcard.

Been past Duxford so many times but I'm ashamed to say that I've never been inside. I'll have to convince Grandson Freddie that he'd like to visit the tanks during the summer holidays

I am sorry for the camera shake, the problem is that even though I thought I was still you get slight movement on a 3-6 second exposure which is what the Stug and Hertzer were taken on. I will return with a tripod and take some better shots, but these give you a flavour of what is in the land warfare hall, the Tiger Moth is just for those who want to see some aircarft :grinball1:
