Hello

Can a kind person please tell me where I can get lead wire for simulating cabling etc. I don't see it in John's shop. I assume these come in scales? I'm after 1/72.

Thanks

Try here.

Myself and others on here have used them with some success.

There is a post a couple of days ago by Scuff about this.

Aidan Similar to Gregg but Amazon. Just put Lead Wire in the search.

I also use soldering wire which comes in a variety of widths. Found this easier to handle than the straight lead.

Think also the Train Model Makers supply little bundles of differing thicknesses.

I used to sell it but the UK distributor has stopped dealing with plusmodel which is a shame as it was a good seller, I could go direct but I have to spend at least €300 + carriage! that's a lot of lead wire

A good alternative is electrical fuse wire, a lot cheaper as well
