I wated to show my first Great War dio: Its Emhar's Mk A Whippet:

You have certainly captured the realism with this. The layout and the attention to detail with that mud and the water filled shell holes along with the Whippet and figures is top class. What did you use for the water and wet mud please ?

Jon:, Water is two - component epoxy,, tinted with Acryllics (Vallejo Iraqi sand), form Heki

Terrain is bsaically celluclay with sand and soil mixed in and painted with acryllics with added AK - Wet effects

John, working with the heki epoxy is pretty easy with very limited shrinkage and it is my go - to product for still water features however the first time I used it tinted, I added another muddy acryllic colour - I can't remember which one - it tinted well but cured to a total greenish colour, do not know why
Btw it's german but the instructions are in english
