Hi I have just started modeling after a brake of say 44 years so I know nothing. could anybody out here give me an idea of a book or magazine that will help me. I am building the schooner Albatross at the moment and although slow it is progressing but would like to read anything that would help.

Hi Nivek and a warm welcome to the forum. Nice to hear your interst is in model boats, my own particular interest.

There are two main magazines for this area of the hobby, Model Boat magazine and Marine Modelling International magazine. Both are very good and well worth subscribing to.

I would also sign up to a specific model boat forum such as the one attached to Model Boat magazine site:
