Hi guys. This is why I built my 'meadow' dio last week.

The figures are from the Wargames Factory Colonial Militia and Woodland Indians sets and the British Infantry are by Perry Miniatures. All are 28mm or 1/56 scale.

looks great Dave,very well,done,and real like your figures at that scale/size not easy to paint at all,

Thanks for the nice comments folks. I'm pleased with how it turned out as you can see it on here. Close up though, the figures could be better:

I think some more figures would have helped, but I didn't have the willpower to do more. I think painting equipment straps at this scale just has to be the most exasperating job in the whole wide world! As for the number of paints you need:

Nice work Dave. Figures look pretty good to me, and that foliage and grass is very convincing in the photos.
