Well I have started on the big-huge-massive X-Wing.

Not much but time consuming. I have fitted red LED's into two of the rear engines, one is cockeyed as the chuffing drill slipped , will have to see if I can sort this. Also fitted two bright white LED's into the wing root. The engine fronts have some detailing and a basic wash as have two of the rear engines. The underneath engines I have used some pipework to fill in the void and hide the wiring. The cannons have had white rod inserted to fill the gap and the rear ones have had mesh around them.

Still loads to do. The LED's have are just a basic wiring loom to check they work before I fully sort it out.

Just drilled the top two engines and the same thing happened again, despite a centre punch! They are slightly off centre-getting annoyed.

Still looking good tho Si I am sure with your skills you will sort it.

All the Led's are in place and the FUBAR of the rear engines has been rectified. The wiring is complete and battery box fitted and all is working. Next stop is finish painting and weathering.

Oh my god...where does one get one of these?
Hi Aaron, I managed to get mine from a Sci-fi convention, on your Ebay there is precious little :( You want the Hasbro 'Heroes' X-wing, It is a toy and will always be a toy really, but once painted and messed with...it is still awsome.
