Micro Air Blower manufactured by Harder & Steenbeck that gives a high powered air flow to blow away bits & pieces.

Shaped just like a traditional airbrush with the usual trigger button operation but only for air.

The out let is about 1mm across. For difficult to get to places it is supplied with a .5mm out let with a long nozzle. The thin outlet is stored in the handle.

Works well & for instance close up it moves the skin on your arm. A very nice piece of kit. The blower comes with a quick removal/connect air union.

Approx £30.

Interesting little device there Laurie.

I use air duster in a compressed can but I'll give this a look.

Out of interest does it blow a higher pressure than just using your double action airbrush with air alone?

Yes Colin. Assume as it does not have to blow paint out & also go thro a very small hole in the nozzle as an airbrush it is unrestricted.

I have obtained a tee piece & connected up both the airbrush & micro blower to the compressor.

Andy I thought that as well. But first as mentioned above you have an increased air flow. You can do this with an ordinary air brush but you would have to increase the pressure on the compressor which is a pain.

The unit is also about 2/3 of the size of an airbrush.

If you are ready to airbrush the pot is full of paint.

One thing I for got it is handy to use after sanding as it removes quickly all the debris including getting into all the difficult places.

Also it can be used for quick paint drying undercoats. Would not recommend for finished coats

Think like probably 75% of the tools marketed & used by model makers you can make do without it. Just makes things easier & hopefully improves paintwork finishes.

OK, I get your point, think I'd rather spend 30 quid on a kit though to be honest
