Great build mate, good to see something different once in a while :)

You always surprise me with what you come up with Si and your next projects. Will it be rusty will it involve a sea or tank idea and heh presto another fantastic voyage to the bottom of the sea from you.

I like the wet look you have given the rocks and volcano vent, your use of vibrant safety colours on the deep sea DSV are also very realistic ( from documentaries I've seen on DSV usage it looks spot on)

Very impressed

My wife said..."Well, it's okay, but not your best." Well it was rattled off in a day lol. Just something I wanted to try.

Thanks guys, glad you like it.

Nice little base!

The mini sub is lovely!!!!! Can I ask which is the manufacturer?

Cheers

It doesn't matter too much that it is rattled off, there are very few people actually trying things like this and its really interesting to 'sea'. I think we all look forward to seeing more of these projects regardless of how quick they are done and within reason, the level of finish.

Ta Polux, glad you like it. No idea as to sub maker, got bought for me and I did it a while ago.

That is funky cool different!!:cool::cool:

I wonder how much fake water you'd need to fully set that "underwater"??o_O

I like that Si. Especially as it shows off yet another of Gromit's talents! Most folks know he can fly a 'plane but not many are aware of his ability to drive a sub!

Some really great work. I really like this dio. The tonal variation amongst the rocks and vegetation is really admirable

Next time get a sub looking at a long lost B-17 in the sea, with rust and full ribbing and interior.

A dio similar to yours won IPMS telford a few years ago for some dio section.

Just an idea since you have already started this genre of dios

Looks good Si base great ,Johns idea of sub and b 17 sounds good should be right up your street with your skill of rusting things.
