Anybody offer a way to lift a decal after it has had Microsol and Microset and then dried?

It looked o.k. from close up but when I stood back, It's a mess!!

There is no way I know of to lift it in one piece. I've removed decals bit by bit using a sticky tape to lift it. Anything to avoid sanding it off.
