discussion Model show at Milton Keynes

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of going to the Milton Keynes show in February. Has anyone been there who can let me know what it's like?

I gotta think about it 'cos if I go I'll have to split my budget between there and Cosford. When I went to Telford, only the dealers were selling, but at Cosford, everyone who had stuff to spare or needed extra cash had something on offer. If it's only dealers at MK I'll probably hold off 'til the Cosford show where I might find a few more bargains.

Although I got some good deals from traders at the shows, last year I saved myself well over £500 by using ebay and private sellers. That's made my stash almost twice as big as it should have been!

I have never been but I spoke to Paul at Little Cars some time ago about airbrushes. He suggested I went to Milton Keynes and have a look at what he had. Phil from Promodellers.com is billed to be with Paul to demonstrate and answer questions, that may depend on if he is free on the day though. Not seen anything as yet to say he will not be there. It is supposed to be a good event but I would assume it will be a traders market.

maybe someone has been and will be able to give more info.

Gern, is this R.A.F. Cosford? If so when is it on please?

It's reasonably close to me so I would like to go.

I went last year and had an absolutely marvellous time. There's also the added bonus that you get to see the real aircraft there too!
