Back in the 70's there was a BBC TV program called Model World presented by Bob Symes-Schutzmann.

There was a book that went with the program; does anyone know where I could get a copy of the book in the UK or know the ISBN number of he book?

You could ask the British Model flying Association. They are the new name for the Society of Model Aeronautical Engineers. They were referenced in the end credits of the show. Is it something specific in the book you need to know or is it a nostalgia/collectors item? If it's info you're after someone here might know.

If you know the authour and can get a hold of the isbn number and title then go to waterstones or another book store and ask them to order it, i have done this in the past with some obscure and difficult to get books and have been able to get a hold of them, hope this helps.

I'm after the book or the ISBN number, if I had that it might help me find a copy.

Hi, don't know if you tracked down a copy. Somewhere in the loft I have an old battered copy with some of the plans. It was a paperback, I can remember queuing with my grandad to my copy. The details you want though are as follows:

  • Paperback: 64 pages
  • Publisher: BBC (8 May 1975)
  • Language English
  • ISBN-10: 0563109181
  • ISBN-13: 978-0563109181
There a couple of copies available on Amazon

Model World: Amazon.co.uk: Peter Riding: Books
