Hey guys, I want to venture into modeling some modern day Iraq/Middle Eastern soldiers and vehicles, etc. I just wanted to know if any of you know how to paint a digital camo or multicam camo onto a 1/35 scale solder. Specifically I'll be getting United States soldiers from Iraq. Any advice for how to paint on the camo would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot and have a good day!

The failed ACU camo or the newer multicam? This is the grey version of ACU:

and this is multicam:

I’ve never tried painting either, but I think the best way to treat the square camo would be to just that it as irregular blobs, because the squares are so small that in 1/35 they simply disappear into the overall shapes (which is the whole point of digital camouflage, after all: making larger shapes when seen from a distance). Multicam is just irregular shapes and blotches like most other clothing camouflage patterns, and so no different to paint, IMHO.
