Hi all,

Well the modelling is at a stand still at the mo :(, my mojo is non existing, my get and go as got up and back its bags and gone .
Besides that fact that I've got a major redec to do in the house o_O including my space which is a bonus :)
To top it all off I'm searching for a new job, being stuck in an office is depressing me and I feel suppressed by it :(
Apologies for the lack of interaction with the group builds but I'll make it up to you all and show it all off when I get back to it...whenever that might be o_O
I'll still be visiting to get ideas and chip in but I'll have nothing to show for the time being :(

Lee :)

Not helped by being this time of the year eh? Hang in there, once you hear the blackbirds singing early evening next month, it'll start to lift! And don't get me started on the current work culture in the UK, it sucks big time, and needs changing.

Which, now I think about it, is another way of saying my mojo could do with a lift too...

Hi Lee, I feel for you mate I've been in the same position for quite a while, in the months leading up to Christmas, wasn't able to look at a kit until a friend gave me my first Gundam kit and then I got hooked on them, I usually find that if you try something completely out of your normal comfort zone... something you have never tried before it help re-kindle my love and enthusiasm for the hobby. Try one of the master grade gundam kits in 1/100 scale or even some warhammer 40k vehicles or figures you might find this actually helps, and who knows you might get hooked on another genre you thought you had no interest in.

It must be catching as I have several big builds on the go but I can't even look at them and I am struggling even to do small ones take today I have a tamiya SAS land rover on the go and all I have done today is two front seats and normally I would have do a good quarter of the build.

It's just really pants...I've got the 1 72 Flower class corvette and more, I get them to the bench with full intention...and bang the mojo is gone!
Thanks for the words chaps, Scott in my stash, I have a selection, wheely things, tracky things, floaty things, peopley things and flying things...it's getting the oomph to do the bloody things! :(

...or get Elite Dangerous, oh wait, no don't, it's a real time black-hole, utterly compelling (our whole galaxy is mapped in this game, I kid you not) and a bit addictive . As a distraction, it knows no equal!

I'm chomping at the bit but sadly work takes up so much of my time then there's family life jobs n chores around the house. I'll meet myself coming back one of these days. Can't wait to retire n take life easy I've already ferreted away lots of kits to keep me busy.I'll be getting my pipe slippers and armchair nearer the time.

Know the feeling, only mange a few hours a week, weather is atrocious, heavy snow then ice then a blizzard, keeping roads open up and down the mountain a chore.
Keeping up with wood orders difficult in deep snows but must carry on:oops: Even though, I find if I just kinda force myself to sit at the bench and take a deep breath the mind starts working, then the fingers;).............Jim:)

i can feel for you, been there myself, i find trying not to force it works best, the mojo will return when its ready

ive got sort of the opposite problem, we moved house in november and got lots to do, the last room will be the spare room which is where my bench will go, cant see me touching plastic for at least another month.....and its driving me up the wall!, sooooooo bored! im just cant wait to get stuck in again

.I'll be getting my pipe slippers and armchair nearer the time.

dont forget the tartan rug to put over your knees :D

Thanks for the support guys :)

It's the lowest I've been for a very long time...physical I want to bash some plastic but mentally I'd rather put pins in my eyes :(

I need a career change, sitting looking at a computer screen all day isn't good for me , I need something a bit more active!

Grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence... I'd rather be sitting in an office some days and having public holidays off and a normal daytime cycle. Chin up Lee, your mojo will return. Take a chunk of annual leave and build a few kits :)

Thanks Joe :)
I know the grass isn't always greener but it's that time where I feel it's time change. ;)
As for leave, it would be used to decorate the house so chance of a build there! :(
