Hiking round Le Lac de la Gileppe in Belgium on Sunday, I came across this memorial in the woods. LM-425 was shot down by a nightfighter on the 31st March 1944, 4 of the crew were killed and the 3 survivors became POWs. Good to know their sacrifice is not forgotten.
