discussion Nebelwerfer rocket case colours Help!

Hi Guys

Just wondering if anyone can help, I am after some info on the Nebelwerfer rocket cases, these were the cases that the rockets were stored in, does anyone know what colour these should be.

I am currently building a Italeri Demag 7 with Nebelwerfer and these cases are with the kit, I know the instructions show them as not to be used and it also does not state the colour of these cases, so if anyone can help with the correct colour I would be extremely grateful.

I'm not sure which cases you have. Ammunition came in wooden boxes,wicker type boxes,metal boxes or individual metal tubes containing one round. The wooden boxes were sometimes painted dark grey or green,the metal boxes always painted in this way. The only metal tube container I've seen was a dark grey colour. The wicker containers were unpainted.

Thanks for that, the type I have are the individual metal containers, so I guess I will paint them in dark green and grey, once again thank you
