namely the O ring behind the nozzle is disintegrated!!!!!

I took it apart earlier, and it's fraying....

As I only use airbrush cleaner, and never cellulose to clean...DUH?

Is there a service pack available?

only bought it about 8 months ago..

Have a word with the supplier of your airbrush. For my Harder & Steenbeck every part is available as a replacement.

After 18 months all the seals are in good condition.

just thought of that, and pm'd John............
I've not got your pm, but I have a full set of spares available here

Iwata Neo Spare Parts for Airbrush

I'm out of stock of one of the O rings, hope it's not the one your wanting, they aren't in stock at my supplier either.

Bugger, that's exactly the one I need, right behind the valve:sobbing:

If it's the one for the valve then it's this you need Iwata Iwata Air Valve assembly IWN-0201 and it's in stock, it's sold as 1 part but has 4 items in it

Air valve body (part N 020 1)

Air valve with o-ring (part N 015 1)

Valve spring (part N 035 1)

Air valve guide (part N 025 1)

Or is it this one? http://www.scalemodelshop.co.uk/neo-valve-piston-packing-o-ring.html or this http://www.scalemodelshop.co.uk/neo-valve-body-o-ring.html

This picture is better than the one on my site.

John, looking at the pic in post#6, it is, as you say the O ring part#4, that sits behind the paint nozzle

Thread owner
John, I'll email you a pic of the offender sometime this evening, hopefully it'll help..

Thread owner
As you may be able to see, the lower pic shows the O ring coming apart

Thread owner
playing safe, nozzle ordered..

Pity they don't do service packs like H&S..

Apparently when the Neo was released it thought it would be treated as a "throw away" airbrush, they have only just released spares for it

Thread owner
so much for throw away...... quality is generally almost as good as regular Iwatas

I 've had nothing but trouble with an H&S I bought 3 years ago, it's dumped under the table in a drawer..
