I like the “new look” website but unfortunately it does have one drawback for me. Having spent some time carefully matching the background colour of my avatar to the “old look” it now sticks out like the proverbial sore thumb!!

Let’s try this for a match.

I've converted your avatar to a transparent gif so now even if the background is sky blue pink with yellow dots it will still match :dan2:

I too like the new colours but I'm still not happy with the header and that will change over the next weeks until I find something that I'm happy with :zoo_taz:

Thanks John. I had tried to make the backgroud transparent in Photoshop but it didn't seem to work for some reason, that's why I tried to match the background. I tried again whilst you were altering it so I've probably b*****ed it upagain!!

Personally I like the header, quite subtle.

If you are unable to to make the background transparent in Photoshop you first need to load the picture in and then go to Image/Mode/RGB Color choose that then you can use the Magic erase tool (Or just press E) to get rid of the background, then File/Save for web, job done

I too like the new colours but I'm still not happy with the header and that will change over the next weeks until I find something that I'm happy with :zoo_taz:

Thanks for the help, I'd used the magic eraser but it was the save to web (to save as .gif) that I'd forgotten. It's working fine now.

The yellow and red things are speed boat type things, I found it hard to find a good picture of a boat or ship, if you have one that has a clear background then I will be happy to swap it

I thought the red and yellow things were m/c sidecar racers but now I see that they are wet-bikes or jet-skis. Not boats or ships.
