This site is run by a friend of mine. It is still "under construction" and he has a lot of material that is being converted from microfilm to digital format as well as literally thousands of photographs to sort out. He has acquired a lot of material such as log books and photo albums from surviving pilots and crew or their families,sadly not a moment too soon.
If you are interested in the P-47 and in particular the 56th FG it is well worth a look.
Nigel,who runs the site,is seriously knowledgeable about all things P-47. He has been approached to write a book about this lot and I for one hope he does it.
