I managed to miss it two nights ago but saw naff all last night. However, Aileen and I did see the Aurora Borealis when we went to Iceland a few years ago.

I didn’t know it would be visible around these parts until yesterday morning, when I heard on the radio news that it was the night before. So yesterday, I decided to go outside around midnight, but all I could see in the sky was a lot of stars. Probably doesn’t help that I’m in the middle of a village, so lots of light pollution around me, but I still stood around for a bit waiting for my eyes to grow accustomed to the dark a bit more, and that also didn’t help

You were not the only one, after all the excitement of the local dog show the Northern Lights would have been too much....zzzzzzzz
