Hello folks

I know i haven't been online much been busy with family and firends problems.

Does anyone own or have previously owned a vauxhall astra merrit my friend had an accident with her car and the other driver had his wing mirror taken off by the collision between her wing mirror.

The connection on the wing mirror looks like a cable tie. Is this possible?

I will send a picture if you think this helps.

He is trying to blame her when it is all his fault.

Can't help with the mirror stuff, but the damage will probable cost less to repair than his excess, so I'd point out that he can claim on his insurance end up paying the excess AND his premium will go up because he has claimed!

Actually for the mirror I'd visit my local scrap yard and get a complete mirror/housing unit. Cost will be minimal. cost me £5 for a complete electric window assembly, all you need is someone to fit it.
