Found this site http://retromash.com/argos/ and it has old Argos catalogues...the early ones brought back many young memories of toys for Xmas. A great trip back memory lane.
Just a couple of items that caught my interest is how prices in these items have fallen.
A Sharp Microwave oven cost £169 in 1982 that is equivalent to over £500 today.
Also a Ferguson Videostar video player/recorder cost £419 that is equivalent to £1,435 today!
Some great stuff and it highlights what was the fashion and in vogue back in the day.
