I had a go today at creating a weathered tin roof it's on an N gauge 1/144 building roof I'm quite happy with it so far I used the salt chipping method.

That's very impressive and the corrugated colour looks spot on with the hints of weathering rusting etc


The salt chipping method has worked very well on this. I've tried it a couple of times but as yet nor cracked it.
