That looks like a nice model to restore and get operational,if the price does not leap up too much Tiger ?

Tiger, subs are pretty demanding and can very easily get very expensive. If the price stays low then have a go but I wouldn't pay too much for it.

Also bear in mind that a dynamic diver has to be ballasted to be at about decks awash draught so you don't always see a great deal of the model when surfaced and they are a lot more involved to sail. Good for getting the hang of and if you can get one cheap then worth having a play with but be carefull.

I got my fingers burned with my first U-Boat. It was a Robbe U-47 but not very well put together and a constant souce of frustration. I did learn a lot from it though, which was its main purpose, but it cost 300.00 quid which was too much for it's condition.

I've heard good reports about these Sarik hulls from someone who had one - but haven't seen one yet although I believe there's an unbuilt one locally that's going to be done as a surface runner. Price looks reasonable at the moment bearing in mind what some other dynamic divers have fetched. A nice project.
