Just looked at this again
I know it's only one man's opinion but I was interested in his comment about the Spitfire IX and Bf109G in a sustained turn. He has flown both aircraft. I read the same thing in a German wartime assessment of the MkI Spitfire And 109E (IIRC) but put it down to over optimism on behalf of the Luftwaffe test pilot!!
Interesting. In another interview he is asked about the P51 and says "it doesn't turn at all" and also loses energy very quickly in a turn.
