not being up on my aeroplanes I have a question regarding a canopy mask for my trumpeter bf109g-2 I can't find a set for this plane however I can get one for a g6 & g10 would either of these two be usable for my g-2. I'm approaching painting stage so would have to order soon scale is 1/32 thanks

I do not know if any other could be used but Montex used to do a masking kit for 1/32 G2.

At 1/32 wouldn't it be easyer and more cost effective to use tape and mask it yourself

Any good? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Montex-1-32-masks-decals-markings-for-the-Bf-109G-2-R6-by-Trumpeter-k32262-/171660655212?hash=item27f7c5ba6c:g:XZwAAOSwwpdW14x4

Hannants used to stock them so have a trawl here: https://www.hannants.co.uk/search/index.php?search=trumpeter+1%2F32

To answer the original question, maybe. The canopy of the G-2 and G-6 were essentially the same up until the point when the so called 'Erla Haube' was introduced on some later G-6s. It could be retro-fitted too. That's the canopy with much less framing to give better vision.

Cheers

Hand paint it, then trim it clean with a sharpened cocktail stick before it fully hardens. Works every time!

Thanks for the info never can cut masking tape properly, Maskol and myself don't get on I might practise my hand painting skills (haha) this is my first plane in this scale and I'm aware that you see every lmperfection so might leave it a few more weeks to build my confidence won't take long I don't have any.
