Hi there,

Thanks to a lovely xmas present(tamiya spitifire) I am now a born again model maker!!. Looking through paint list, Want to use Tamyia paints for brushing. For larger areas would like to use airbrush.

However, the paints listed are there AS-12,AS-30,AS-31,AS-32 and TS-46 these are all tamiya spray cans, which are hard to find and not suitable for airbrushing.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on alternative paints, which will go with the other Tamiya paints and can be used in an airbrush.

Thanks.

Hi pat I used Testors paints for my Spitfire.

Hi Pat, are you in the UK? Some paints are difficult to source here (Testors for example). There are some makes, both acrylic and enamel, that do good matches for the British colours on the Spitfire with no need to mix.
