Looks interesting, keep us updated with the build Ian. Are you gonna build it clean or heavily weathered?

I'm hoping to go somewhere in the middle Leo, used but loved. So plenty of scope a little rust and damage

Got something done on this over the weekend. First was to get rid of all the pin marks off the bodywork, then I got the engine built and painted along with the wheels

Thanks guys, I'm not too sure if I've overdone it on the wheels, but that can be sorted at a later date if I have. The engine and its bay still needs some muckying ( if that's a word ) up.

I was going to do one of these with the rusted look,but I decided to go with the beetle I did a while back.

well I've got some more done to this one, I've got the hubcaps painted but I'm leaving 1 off, I also got the engine bay grimed up and painted the underside. And also the floor of the inside

Looking good the weathering on the floor pan etc is spot on.
