discussion Parents are a worry

Hi all well today is a bad day for me, my dad is 84 and I've been told by my mum he's gone into hospital with a chest and urine infection, he's on 24 hour oxygen and nebuliser, dosent look good my mum is complaining of pain in her lungs but won't see or tell a doctor as "she has to be there for dad" has sworn me not to mention to docs (I'm going to anyway) don't think things are looking very good.

Sorry to hear that Ken. I do hope your dad gets through it, and your right to let them know about how your mother's feeling.

Not a lot I can say that will help but I know what you are going through.  It isn't easy but you have to do what you think is right and take each step at a time.  Try not to over think things, easier said than done and keep an eye on yourself.  These times can be stressful but getting stressed helps no one. My best wishes to you and your family.

Hi all thanks for the kind words, docs been told, she's strained her chest, probably trying to move my dad on her own, instead of asking for help knowing her. She used to be a nurse and thinks she can still do it all.
