This my second and final kit and it wasn't too much of a horror story the Matt paints only needed three coats and I took the tip to discard the tail decal stripe and I painted one on and the decals went on without to much drama.

Where's the starboard serial Peter? Your decals certainly have less silvering than mine. Your paintwork must be smoother.

I did put it on but by the looks of it I must have taken it off by accident if you look closely you can see where it was.

I blame the carpet monster's cousin, the decal imp.
They don't seem to stick very well do they.

I didn't even dare touch the area's close to the decals on mine as they looked they could fall off with the slightest touch.
