I am going to give this one extra speical treatment,i have aready given the body a good wash and a couple of coats of humrol gloss red.

But i have noticed that my white does'nt come up high enough but i won't change it for the fear of ruining it.

I am doing the hard top version witch has had the same treatment i still have to put the black rubber around the windows.

Very nice Peter. Have always thought car finishing much more difficult than aircraft. Aircraft being mostly matt finish it can hide a blemish or two especially with distressing.

With a car it is gloss which shows up every little hair etc.

Interesting this as architects we designed Ron Hickman's original House in Jersey. Before he produced his Black and B work bench he was instrumental in the Lotus group design group.
