I have added a couple of photo's, one in Aircraft, and one in the "other" file.

The name of the plane has escaped me. However, it is I believe the only one of its type still flying, It was flown in from England to the Mull fly-in in May 2004. The pilot and passenger said it was a hands on all the time plane, not relaxing at all. It also had a "for Sale" sign decorating it for the weekend.

The other Photo I took when we were approaching the landing strip keeping a look out for another plane which we were warned was in the vicinity and wanting to land also. No problem, he was a mile away and 500ft lower

Bob,it is a Chrislea Super Ace,one of only two still flying in the UK,what a great little airstrip this is at Glen Forsa.

My ex workmate lives on the other side of the island in a cottage that he restored himself,there was a sawmill alongside that caught fire and he purchased the whole lot cheaply.

Its a great picture in a lovely rural setting,apparently they get really bad weather sometimes.

Thanks for that Barry, I am about to put a picture of one of the Loch Earn Float-planes on site. I took this at one of the Model Waterplane fly-ins before it got busy.

Amazing views u get up there....i would give my eye teeth to take that photographers place!

Did you take the inflight photo yourself?

Not too sure about the last photo tho, looks like a doubledecker with wings, lol!

Very scenic around here, which means not much flat land for model plane flying. Yes I took that from the plane one of my pals has a share in. I do not get a lot of flight time in as even when sharing individual flight costs, the £'s soon go.

The Lazy Bee has quite following worldwide. I enjoy seeing one once in a while, very slow flight characteristics. Maybe have to go that route in Twenty years or so
