Hi there!

With Man's Day coming up in the former USSR, my girlfriend asked me if i'd like some model-related present. Of course she was right to assume i would. So yesterday i ordered all 6 shades of washes from Promodeller.com. I've heard a few good things about them but i initially came across this brand when stumbling upon a YouTube video seeing the wash in action. It certainly beats MiG by the looks of it. When the stash arrives, i'll test them out and report back on my findings.

If anyone has ever used Promodeller washes, it would be interesting to hear your views :)

Cheers

I use them all the time and absolutely love them. They are as idiot proof as the videos imply, which is just as well when they're in my hands! Don't forget that you can mix them to any shade you fancy.

I have just ordered some to finish my Mustang. I have heard nothing but good about them. have to say though, most agree that if you just want it to pick out panel lines etc, it should be applied over a smooth (Klear) finish. As it is clay base, when you come to wet wipe it off the main surface, if it is rough spray, it will embed into the rough surface and could be tricky to clean up. Best bit is that you can leave it as long as you want and it will still wet wipe off. Dry rubbing it off will create a dirty surface so ideal for underside of aircraft.

I've been using the Game workshop citadel washes which aren't bad but I've also seen the videos on youtube and they do look good.
