PTL-02 of the Peoples Liberation Army of China

picked this up for a tenner at a show last year, had no idea what it was but it looked a very nice kit, includes a pe fret, just seemed like a bargain

its basically an armoured personnel carrier converted to take a turret with a 100mm cannon, which is pretty common these days since its a cheap way of making something thats highly mobile and carries a punch whilst sacrificing higher levels of armour

done my usual trick of adding some mass to the hull and bonded in a nut so i can use a 'handle'

camo on......since ive took the pics ive gone over the sandy colour to get rid of any over spray

good dose of Kleer.......decals on....and a wash...sort of................the Kleer was so good oils wouldnt even pool in the right places! just ran off..........so tried again with an enamel wash...wasnt that much better....so gone with as good as it got

ready for a matt varnish tomorrow now
