discussion Quick question Meeting up

Hey guys

Just a quick question now im back on my feet and enjoying life i was wondering if anyone would like to meet up again considering i didn't get the chance last year. I would love to meet you all i mean it does depend if we can find the time of course. Do you think its possible?

I think it's possible Char. Probably in the better weather of the Summer time and probably keeping it relatively low key would attract more people than trying to make an event out of it and thus hard work for people.

I'm sure we could come up with a venue that is convenient to us all such as a stately home or a public park or something. If we keep it within a day trip striking distance for Richard that should give him the opportunity as well.

The only problem - with such a range of modeling interests here on the forums? Will we be able to chose somewhere we'll all enjoy going?!

I'm up for a visit to Duxford sometime - just down the road for both me and Richard too!

I could do duxford as well haven't been thier in years. To tell the truth can't remember when was the last time lol.

Last time I went to Duxford was a group of school kids - I was amazed at the speed they went through the first hanger (The Superhanger - with the Vulcan, Short Sunderland, Concorder...etc) - I'm sure none of them even gave the aircraft in it a single glance!

I could spend all morning climbing around any one of them!

It was rather good actually - the school trip was a Year 10 group - old enough to be able to fend for themselves so whilst they ran towards the nearest cafe, us staff enjoyed a nice peaceful trip and the chance to view the exhibits in our own time!
