Just seen this on 'RAF Banter And Bollocks' there is controversy as to whether it is real, R/C or CGI

Your thoughts on this!

Gregg

I'd say RC I just slowed it down and there is no port side hatch that I could see :)

in my own opinion, judging from the lack of noise after it has flown past i would say scale rc.

Without a doubt it isn't real lol. The wind buffeting you'd have got if that was real would have knocked the guys off his feet. Also too close to the hedges.

I personally think it's CGI. Sound is all wrong for a RC engine

It's real alright. The C-47 belongs to the Commemorative Air Force based in Texas. If you think it's an RC, you don't know much about airplanes.

I don't know if it is real or not, however if anyone had been standing I fear they wouldn't have been after it passed. Headless comes to mind:eek::eek:

I think having seen a few more vids its rc with audio dub work

To be honest if the first one was real it was an unbelievably irresponsible and stupid manoeuvre in any aircraft, never mind a fifty year old Dakota. I can therefore only hope it was RC!! If it was real the guy should loose his license.

All i'll say is look at the size of the grass in front of the lens compared to the 'real' C-47

That's called making yourself a hostage to fortune. I don't think it's a CAF aeroplane, if I had to bet I'd say a model. The scale is wrong relative to the environment as it flies by. I'd rather carry on sitting on the fence though.

Cheers

I'm afraid I better be looking for a new job then.
