Just finished watching Red Tails, really enjoyed it, most likely a few historical errors but an enjoyable evening film. Now I must go order the 1:24th kit :)

If you take your brain out and just watch it then it's fine. If you start looking at historical accuracy then it'll be a long night lol

I gave up checking films for historical accuracy many years ago, its the only way you can enjoy them...:whatever:

At least this time it's actually stated that the film is a fictionalized portrayal of the Tuskegee Airmen..... i can't be doing with the films that state 100% accuracy and then whilst watching it you just count the errors :) :)

You mean like U-571, where the Americans claim they found the Enigma machine !!!!
Yes I have learnt so much on revisionist history from films that I have now decided that Britain & the Commonwealth were very fictional in the war.

Strange, that, I always thought they were in at the begining & there at the end. I have lived a myth.
