New to this, so please be gentle with me.!!!

I've just been given a

REMPLOY HISTORICAL SCALE MODEL KIT of

THAMES SPRITSAIL BARGE "KATHLEEN"

The box has been opened but all contents are in unopened condition.

I need the brains of the experts (?) to give me some info on date it was in production and price if possible

Hi, just in the middle of building a Remploy Hastings Lugger, produced in 1967 (apparently). The materials are very good but most of the wooden parts need cutting out, I use a vibro saw for accuracy. The plans and instruction books are comprehensive but there is still some guesswork. I paid £57 +p&p on E-Bay last year for mine. Hope this helps,

Fascinating. Remploy were set up to "Re-employ" injured and disabled servicemen after the war and continue in some form to this day I believe, mainly making furniture.

The two kits mentioned sound very nice. Any chance of any pictures, please?

Duffo, I have the same Remploy Hastings Lugger model. I have 4 pages of plans but no further instructions. Do you have anything further in your kit?
