Hi Guys , having been busy at work I`m now able to crack on with my ardennes dio , after getting some resin ammo boxes could anyone advise the best way to get them off the sprue/4 be 2 lump of resin they come on I`ve tried a craft knife but with no luck , thought of using a junior hacksaw blade but don`t want t mess up , any advice would be very welcome.

also added a few photo`s - german figures under construction , 1st layer of snow on base , and a couple of oil drums will be used along with a bucket.

Your figures are looking great Richy. That's always my weakest point so I like to see good ones.

I'll agree with Patrick there mate. Your figures put most of ours to shame. Great job. I haven't used Resin yet but am thinking about it. I'll be interested to hear how it goes and what your final word on resin kits is.

Cheers

Has to e a razor saw but please be careful. The dust from cutting/sanding resin is toxic so be gentle and wipe up everything with a damp cloth afterwards to make sure it all gets cleaned up, including the bits you want to keep and your worktop. looking forward to this dio, just know it is going to be good.

Figures are looking great, what is your base colour for the German coats/uniforms?

Cheers guys , razor saw it is then , still not totally happy with the figures yet - I`m going to get a couple of 000 brushes to help pick out the finer details on them,

Hi Graham I will follow your safety advice mate , German base colour :- Vallejo German uniform 70920

Cheers Rich I was hoping you would not say that. The Vallejo German Uniform 70920 is the green I used on my Mustang!!!!! It looks nothing like your figures. No wonder I am going mad with colours.....
